Its back!

GS8 2011

This year, GS8 will take on a new format.  We will no longer host a Super 8 Crash Course, purchase or process film for participants or lend out cameras.  Instead, participants will find information on this website instructing them on how to make a super 8 film, where to rent or buy super 8 cameras, buy film, and have it processed.  Filmmakers will submit one roll of unedited, processed super 8 film to our drop box at All City Coffee by Friday, April 29th 7pm and will be able to screen their film in preparation for creating a soundtrack at the AV Club (aka Laura’s Studio) on April 30th at 6pm.  The 2011 GS8 screening will take place the weekend of June 11th with a format that is still to be determined.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Laura Wright at lauracwright@hotmail.com.

Thank you and happy filmmaking.
